Abba IS Love! [אהב]

1 John 4:7&8
7"Beloved,let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love."

The Bible says that "God is love."  The Holy Spirit, Who is always drawing pictures for us, graphically demonstrates this truth in the Hebrew spellings of "father" and "love." He so wants us to understand this that He not only tells us He loves us, HE SHOWS US!

Hebrew reads from right to left and is a form of picture writing, like Chinese. The word pictures God uses to spell words give us a glimpse from His perspective.  You'll find things in these word pictures that you'd never get from any definition.

Abba is spelled Like this:  [אב] Abba: aleph, bet
[א] aleph is a picture of an ox.  It signifies sacrifice and leader as well.
[ב] bet is a picture of a house

The word Abba is a picture of Jesus as the aleph [א] head or leader of the [ב] bet-house.

Now look what happens when you put the letter "hei[ה]" in the middle of the word.  You get this word:
Ahav [אהב] which means "LOVE!"

Hei is the fifth letter of the Hebrew alphabet and five, as many of you know, is the number of GRACE!  Grace is not a doctrine; it is a Person:  Jesus.  When He died on the cross, it literally ripped our Father's heart out.  Can you see the visual in this word?

Without the Father and The Son there is no "love."  Abba really IS love!
