Sick {חָלָ֖ה}

Luke 4:40-41
40 At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them. 41 Moreover, demons came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew he was the Messiah.

Everywhere He went, Jesus preached the gospel wnd healed ALL who came to Him for healing.  There is no record that He ever, ever made anyone sick....EVER.
His Father--our Father--has provided us with everything we need for our everyday life, including how to walk in His divine health, something that will become increasingly important in the last days.

Daily Holy Communion, being careful to discern that Jesus' body was broken so that ours could be whole, as differentiated from His blood, which cleansed and made us forever right with God, will be like taking any medicine.  In fact, it's the best medicine!
When we truly come to grips with the fact that we stand before God completely clean, we can receive anything, or more to the point, EVERYTHING from Him!

Secrets In The Hebrew Language.

The word for "sick," in Hebrew is very enlightening.  It's one thing to know the definition of a word.  It's quite another thing to know God's thoughts on a particular subject; how He defines it.

This is the word "sick" in Hebrew:
(חלה)
kalah

Hebrew reads from right to left and is a form of picture writing, like Chinese.  The pictures God uses to form words give us a window on His perspective  These are very consistent.

Sick, "kalah," is spelled like this:
(ח)  Chet (like a guttural "K") or het.
(ל)  Lamed
(ה)  Hei

"Chet (ח)"means "fence." It can mean someone or something is fenced in or fenced out.
"Lamed (ל)" is a picture of an ox goad. It means "learning."  The ox goad was used to "teach" the ox what to do and where to go.
"Hei (ה) means "grace."

Hei?  What is "grace" doing mixed up in the word that means "sick?"  The Holy Spirit is drawing pictures for us again!  The word pictures literally spell it out:

WHEN YOU ARE FENCED OFF FROM LEARNING GRACE, YOU BECOME SICK.

So keep on learning about grace.  Keep on focusing your eyes on Him.  Keep on confessing God's word over you.

Then you won't become SICK.
