"3 And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. 4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. 5 For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love."
(Abram gives gifts to Melchizedek.)
Our Lord Jesus is King/Priest forever after the order, not of Levi, but of Melchizedek. As He is, so are we in this world which means you and I, Church, are both kings AND priests, just like Jesus. When the word of a king goes forth, it is so. His words carry weight and have power.
Remember the scripturethat says Jesus is "King of kings and Lord of lords?" That doesn't refer to kings and Lord's set in place by man, though they're certainly included. He is King of all us kings and queens and Lord of lords, meaning thee Church!
It's a FACT that, as Christians, we are not under law, we are under GRACE, according to Hebrews 8, something the Apostle Paul says so in numerous other places. HOWEVER.....
Here's another FACT: You cannot be under law AND grace simultaneously. It is either/or, NOT BOTH. Paul says that "A little leaven (law) leavens the whole lump."(Gal. 5:9). The teeny, tiniest little bit of leaven puffs up the whole loaf of bread making it quite literally full of hot air: Pride; self-righteousness, man's doing.
You cannot try to obey the Law--meaning use human effort to think, be or do good enough and when you fail--as you inevitably will--go back to Jesus and ask for forgiveness. NOPE.
Notice the verse doesn't say, "Christ becomes of no effect to those who DISOBEY the law," in Galatians 3:10. It says He becomes if no effect to those who are OF THE WORKS OF THE LAW. Those who are of the works of the law CANNOT INHERIT the blessings of Abraham and will not reign in life.
Do yourself a HUGE FAVOR: Don't invite those curses in. Come under the shelter of His wings. If you don't, you'll automatically default to being under law and subject to it's blessings and cursings.

If you, King/priest, "say" you must to "do good to get good and if you do bad you get bad," in other words, blessings (and cursings) are performance-based, then guess what? The Law, NOT GRACE, has jurisdiction. IT IS SO because you "SAY" so.

If you choose Law over grace, you must perfectly obey the WHOLE THING which means "GRACE-->Jesus-->HAS BECOME OF NO EFFECT TO YOU," because you are under the "WORKS of the Law."
As a believer you may experience the curses of the Law but you are not under God's judgment at any time. How can you be when Jesus took ALL your punishment; ALL your judgment? He OVERPAID your debt! But if you are experiencing any of the curses of the law, they are not a punishment for your wrong-doing. You may believe you are under God's wrath but you really aren't; it is only your skewed perception. You are being punished by God because you perceive you are. But you are never at any time actually under His judgment.

Contrary to popular Christian opinion, there's is no such thing as balance. Unfortunately, if you believe there is you'll be OFF BALANCE! This is how believers FALL FROM GRACE.
So what are the "works of the law?" "Do good, get good; do bad, get bad." This is self-righteousness. This is performance-based Christianity, not righteousness by faith. If that is what you believe, FLUSH IT..........QUICKLY! The devil can AND WILL dispense any and all of the curses listed in Deuteronomy 28 on you and your family whenever he pleases because you, the king/priest, say you must obey the law.
It won't be Abba "punishing" you. NOT A CHANCE! He is your answer. He is your perfect protection against all curses whic, by the way, Jesus reversed by His death on the cross.
Do yourself a HUGE FAVOR: Don't invite those curses in. Come under the shelter of His wings. If you don't, you'll automatically default to being under law and subject to it's blessings and cursings.
The Law is holy, just, good but also COMPLETELY UNBENDING. You must obey ALL.....or else.
Church, that was never meant to be your heritage. However, if you say it is so, IT IS SO.
