God is LIGHT! In the book of Genesis, His first recorded words were "Let there be light," That's what it says in English but the Hebrew literally reads, "LIGHT be!" And Who is that light? JESUS!
Fears are an indication that somewhere in your life you have a dark belief. Darkness is the absence of light. Fears and worries are just like prayer and meditation only in reverse. It shows that you're focused on and headed in the wrong direction.

You cannot remove darkness and fears by saying "Darkness, I curse; I bind you! Go away, in Jesus' Name!"

God's answer is so simple: "Turn on the light!"
Jesus is the Light of the world! He is the light in your darkness. His word has something to say about your situation. You don't need to try and overcome whatever it is that makes you fearful or worried. Shine God's light on it and the darkness is dispelled.....effortlessly.
Every time you go to church and hear anointed preaching, the light is turned on. It causes you to see something you never saw before. The "light" dawns giving you a new understanding.
In the verse above it says, "the darkness cannot comprehend it." That means the darkness is a presence. It can think; it can act. It wants you to feel powerless, alone and abandoned. But it has NO defense against the Light. Simply turning on THE LIGHT causes it to FLEE!!!
So, Church; don't sit there afraid, lost and alone in the dark......Turn on THE LIGHT!
